Crownsville resident Mary Beth Blasetti had to be airlifted to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center on Saturday night after being involved in a golf cart crash, where she died two days later, officials confirmed.

The 32-year-old woman leaves behind her husband, Nick, and their 2-month-old daughter, Mary Katharine Blasetti.

According to organizers of a GoFundMe - which has seen more than $260,000 in donations raised in just two days - the young couple recently purchased their first family home in Annapolis after welcoming their daughter in September.

"Mary Beth brought joy to so many and had a wide community of friends and family who are devastated by her sudden passing," Olivia McKenna wrote. "She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her."

Services have been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 25 at the St. John Neumann Church on North Bestgate Road in Annapolis. Those interested in contributing to the GoFundMe can do so here.

Blasetti was a University of West Virginia alum and WVU Alpha Phi sorority sister.

"Sisters ... We have some very sad news. Mary Beth Blasetti (Devitt), a fall 2010 Beta Iota, passed away in a tragic accident over the weekend," the WVU Alpha Phi House Corporation Board posted on social media. "A Gofundme has been created to ease the financial burden that her young family will face in the immediate future."

A family friend added, "we have had the privilege of knowing Mary Beth for over a decade. She has always graced us with a beautiful smile and a positive loving spirit."
